Visual Line-of-Sight (LOS) in Photorealistic 3D Map View

Airwaive recently updated our line-of-sight toolset to include new functionalities. With a few clicks, you can now view potential point-to-point (PTP) obstructions with our recent integration with Google’s Photorealistic 3D tiles. Or simply enter two geopoints (lat/long) and visually follow the aerial path in between.

Our 3D mapping tool also provides aerial views and 3D rotation around a specific geopoint for 360-degree views.

Searching Through Public Sites (FCC Data)

In addition to identifying and contacting Airwaive hosts, you can now search through public sites that are available through the FCC website. In addition to lat/long and height data, we also provide owner and contact information, 3D mapping, LOS analysis, and Google Street View where applicable.

From the dashboard, click “Search Public Sites” to view public antenna structures (> 160,000 towers in the US). From here, type in or speak your commands, such as “Show me the Crown Castle towers in Chicago”. Then you can drill deeper, such as… “Zoom into tower #6” or “Check coverage from #7 for 3.5GHz” or “Check line of sight from #6 to #7” or “View in real 3D”.
