Equipment Proposal
Depending on specific site characteristics such as directions faced, line of sight, height and other factors, we deploy a variety of hardware at a given locations. For example, at rooftop sites with greater height and where many different directions can be covered, we may install as many as four different ‘nodes’. Rooftop nodes can be mounted using free-standing, non-penetrating mounts such as the one pictured below. In other instances, equipment can be wall mounted, for example on the side of an elevator shaft enclosure on a rooftop (see image below). Ancillary equipment (switches, routers, LoRa devices and the like) can be mounted either in weatherproof enclosures, or within designated network /utility rooms or cabinets depending on the site layout.
Descriptions of the equipment we deploy are provided below. All you need to do is indicate the quantity of nodes you are willing to host, and we’ll work with you to figure out the rest. (Note, we generally require at least two nodes at each location, but there are exceptions!) We’ve also included some examples of what some install types look like.
