Networking Equipment
Wireless equipment refers to the devices and systems used for wireless communication, including wireless base stations, access points, routers, modems, and antennas. These devices are used to transmit and receive wireless signals for applications such as internet access, telephony, and data transfer.
Base stations and access points are used to create wireless networks and provide wireless coverage in a specific area. These devices are usually installed in high-rise buildings and other structures to provide better signal coverage. Base stations are typically larger and more powerful than access points and are used to create larger wireless networks.
Routers and modems are used to connect wireless devices to the internet. Routers act as a gateway between wireless devices and the internet, while modems are used to convert the digital signals used by computers into the analog signals used by telephone lines or cable lines.
Antennas are used to transmit and receive wireless signals. They are typically used in conjunction with other wireless equipment to improve signal coverage and quality.
